Michael Keaton (born Michael Keaton) is an American actor and has served as a director, producer as well as a producer. The actor is most well-known for the film 'Birdman. As a versatile actor, he has the ability to play both dramatic and comedic roles. His career has seen him perform a number of love-interest characters and he's appeared in some action thrillers. The passion for acting profession began when he was at the age of teen. He began to try stand-up comedy in his early 20s. Although his stand-up show was not successful it helped pave the road for his acting. In the end, despite not being a popular comedian, he began working at a Satellite station, as a crew part-time. This job was where he discovered that it was his dream to be in front of cameras. He was then able to secure an appearance on television and was in many episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. His talent as an actor helped him become a household name on TV. He had great goals, and started a film career and gained fame in comedy roles. The accolades grew when he portrayed Batman's eponymous superhero from Tim Burton's Batman. As time passed, he grew as an actor and also ventured into production and direction. His performance in 2014 as Birdman garnered him many awards and nods.
